You can follow your bliss like a sucker. If I followed by bliss I'd be on the couch with a beer watching my favorite TV show. This is much harder, and I'm thinking at 7,000 vertical feet going up that mountain, first time on a bike in three years, embarrassed that I'm the slowest one on the ride, stopping to catch my breath, I'm not following anyone's bliss. I'm following my agony. I remind myself, it's worth all the effort and if that's not enough dig deeper until you find it.
Follow your grrrr.
Make it to the top and smile. Cross that river into the meadow. Stay 'til sunset. Then, after you're all spent, pack up your bike and enjoy a good night's rest.
